2007 Civic Mugen RR. I’m thinking about making a clone of one of these in a year or two.

The front ends pop up for sale on jdm import sites, they’re crazy expensive

It definitely makes for a mean looking 8th gen. Personally I have been going the other direction and trying to find an Acura CSX clip for my Civic... Or if possible just get an entire CSX. I saw one driving around not too long ago with Virginia plates on it, so either it’s possible, or that was a questionably imported gray market car.

Yeah, the car itself was about the equivalent of $45k when it came out and they’re still around 40.

Sometimes you see Canadian cars slip across the border. There was a Canadian 1995 Prelude SR (known as the Si here) for sale in the Norfolk area on and off for years. CSX would definitely be an interesting sight.

Strangely enough I actually saw that CSX in the Norfolk area too. It was on Hampton Blvd near Terminal. For what its worth there is a CSX on Craigslist right now in the Yorktown area that is being parted out. It could have easily been the same one that I saw. It got my hopes up when I came across the ad, but apparently the front clip is already gone.

I’d be surprised if the trunk and tails aren’t already gone too. The JDM 8th gen used the CSX trunk and tails, so they’re necessary for Type R and RR conversions.
